Privacy Policy of Henry Stewart Conference Studies LLP, Henry Stewart Publications LLP, Henry Stewart Events Ltd and Henry Stewart Events Inc.(individually and collectively ‘HS’)

1. Introduction
   HS take your privacy very seriously. This privacy policy describes how and why we obtain, store and process data which can identify you. We may update this policy from time to time and shall indicate on the web site when changes have been made.
2. The Information we collect
   Information may be collected from you when you register with us, or when you contribute to or use some of the advanced features on the site. The information we collect is clearly set out on the web page on which we collect it. In addition, we may collect your IP address and use cookies unless you configure your web browser not to accept them. We may capture your time of access and the pages accessed.
3. Why we collect it
   We collect information about you so that we can personalise your use of the site, assist your use of the site and improve the site generally. Unless you request us not to we may arrange for you to be sent information about products and services from us and third parties (see section 4). You may make a request to opt out at any time. Where national law sets specific requirements concerning the collection or use of data provided by persons in that country and we are aware that a person is in that country we collect and use data in accordance with the specific requirements.
4. Who we disclose it to
   4.1. Unless you opt out we may pass on information about you as an individual (as opposed to aggregate information) to third parties including overseas parties who may then send communications to you to provide information, offers and services that may be of interest to you. You can opt out of receiving direct marketing communications at any time by notifying the sender.
   4.2. We may disclose details of or grant access to you and your information  if required to do so by law or by any Governmental body.
   4.3. UK EVENTS - The information you provide on this website or otherwise to us will be held on a database and may be shared by all HS and third party entities in the UK and internationally. US EVENTS - You confirm by registering for an event that Henry Stewart Events Inc. and all persons authorized by it may contact you by e-mail, phone and/or mail about their products and related services, including announcements of special promotions. You may opt-out/withdraw this consent at any time.
5. Data Protection
   Henry Stewart Conference Studies LLP, Henry Stewart Publications LLP and Henry Stewart Events Ltd are each registered with the Information Commissioner in the UK as a "data controller" in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act 1998. Further details of the registration are available at www.dpr.gov.uk. We may from time to time transfer your details outside the EEA for processing in accordance with this privacy policy. We will only do this where your information will be treated to UK Data Protection Standards or where you have consented to the transfer.
6. Security
   Keeping information about you secure is very important to us and certain sections of the site may encrypt data using SSL or a comparable standard. However, no data transmission over the Internet can be guaranteed to be totally secure. As a result, whilst we strive to protect your personal information, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information which you send to us, and you do so at your own risk.
7. Automated decisions
   Parts of henrystewart.com, henrystewartconferences.com and other HS websites and our billing process (including via Streamline e-solutions) are automatic and we may process your personal data as part of the billing process.
